Black Hollywood Live: Ahmaud Arbery:

New evidence has been brought to the case involving the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. A card was placed at the memorial spot, which is the same place Gregory and Travis McMichael killed him.

The note reads, “Ahmaud- I am so sorry. I should have stopped them. I am so sorry.”

This note means there was an additional person who witnessed the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. Even though the note won’t bring him back to life, it does bring additional evidence to the case.

The mother of Arbery, Wanda Cooper, said she would like to speak with the person who wrote the note.

“I am pleading on the behalf of the family that you please make yourself known to the authorities so my family can begin to have closure,” she said in an interview with CNN.

So far, the only witness to the case is William Bryan, which is the man who recorded the video of Arbery’s death.

“I don’t think I’ll ever be in a mental state where I could actually watch the video. I had others watch the video and share what they saw and that was just enough,” she said.

The McMichaels have been arrested and will not be able to face a grand jury until mid-June.

Black Hollywood Live will continue to give the latest details and commentary on Ahmaud’s tragedy. If you wish to raise aware awareness on this issue as we do, please share this article with a friend.
