Black Hollywood Live’s James Lott Jr. Wins Big at D.C. Awards Show

James Lott, Jr. was a big winner over the weekend in Washington, D.C. being honored for his show, Breaking Into.

The Capital City Web Awards were held Saturday night in the nation’s capital. The awards highlight outstanding online scripted and non-scripted series that feature people of color across directing, writing, acting, and hosting.

Lott won the Best News/Entertainment Series Host – Live/Recorded award for his show, Breaking Into, on Black Hollywood Live. Lott has been hosting the show for five years on BHL.

Breaking Into is an in-depth educational interview series that features today’s most influential entertainment figures. Guests range from directors to actors, hosts to reality stars, publicists to executives and much more. The singular goal is to highlight how they broke into the industry in their chosen field while offering many tips, tricks, and techniques.

Lott also hosts several other shows on BHL and AfterBuzz TV, including several for soap operas, including Dishin’ Days, The Young and the Restless aftershow, Bold Breakdown, and the General Hospital aftershow.

Lott is also a very successful organizer and life coach, speaking to companies and audiences across the country.
