Starting her acting career in Hollywood, California Ernestine began as a featured extra on major WB network shows. She hit the Big Screen for the first time opposite Kevin Hart in Think Like a Man Too. Her recent credits include Shots Fired and 24 Legacy on the FOX network, Downsized on Tv One opposite Nicole Ari Parker, and her debut lead role opposite DC Young Fly in #DigitalLivesMatter on the BET network. Ernestine is infamous in the spoken word world for being uncensored and untamed on the microphone and one of this generation’s most viral poets. She’s performed live on the OWN Network’s hit show “It’s Not You It’s Men,” TV One’s “Donnie After Dark,” and her original spoken-word piece “Average Black Girl” performed live on The Arsenio Hall Show which broke the internet with over 40 million views. She followed up with “Red Bottoms” and a rendition of Beyoncé’s “Formation” that also took the internet by storm.
Ernestine Johnson Morrison went viral after months of performing on the Arsenio Hall show, she created several viral spoken words on YouTube grossing over ten thousand viewers and followers, her most famous ” formation” by Beyonce. She recently alongside her Husband Jay Morrison opened a co working space and studios for creatives in Atlanta, Georgia called Green Lit Studios.
