Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Jayme Shaye found her love for music at a young age. Ever since she began to utter words, her talent began to shine through. As she grew older, her love for singing was complemented and enriched through writing poetry and eventually transformed into songs.

In 2012, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and began to slay the music scene and earned her spot as being named among the best. R&B songstress Jayme Shaye has always exemplified the promising characteristics of a true artist.

“Life is my motivation. I write and sing about my experiences. It’s therapy for me.” Whatever audience Jayme Shaye serenades, it’s also therapy for them.

After deciding to take her music to the next level, she began recording and performing in some of the hottest venues in Cincinnati. Through this network, she also began working with some of the most talented producers in the city. “Jayme Shaye is one of a kind. Her sound is very unique and distinctive. The last artist that was able to fuse soul and hip hop like that was Mary J. Blige. She has the potential to be that big! Look forward to what’s next!” raves Young Ex of Timeless Studios who has worked with major artists such as Mila J, Yo Gotti & Post Malone.

Recently, Jayme Shaye completed recording her new, highly anticipated album “deToxic” which released March 3, 2018. “With my music, I want to inspire. I want to show people that it’s ok to be who you are. Stop being afraid to show your true colors, worrying about what others may think. NEVER lose yourself.
