Missy Elliott is BACK and ready to show she’s still got the rhythm and flow!

The five songs on the album are 1. “Throw It Back” 2. “Cool Off” 3. “DripDemeanor” 4. “Why I Still Love You?” 5. “Why I Still Love You? (A Capella)”

Elliot took to Instagram to share the big news with her fans and thank them for their constant support.

“This year has been a tremendous year for me,” said Elliot. “I am humbled and grateful. THANK YOU for allowing me to smell the roses. You, my fans, and God are the reason I am here and have celebrated every milestone with me! So, I have a SURPRISE for you… let’s continue the celebration at midnight tonight…I’m dropping a collection of new songs! Let’s #ThrowItBack to a time when music just felt good and made us want to dance! Sincerely, Dr. Melissa “Missy” Elliott #Iconology

Missy received some major support from Timbaland and Mary J Blige in the comments.

Timbaland helped produce the new album, along with Elliot and Wili Hendrix.

In addition to the album, Elliot released the music video to Throw It Back.

The Grammy winner first started releasing music in the early 90’s as part of the all-female R&B group Sista, and then released her first solo album, Supa Dupa Fly, in 1997.
