You might have seen Nick Cannon guest host for The Wendy Williams Show this year, and now you’ll be seeing him host a lot more. Cannon appeared on The Howard Stern Show Wednesday to announce that he is developing his very own daytime talk show.

You might have seen him guest host for the Wendy Williams’ show this year and thought ‘Nick Cannon is at it again.’ Well, we can’t say that he plans on stopping any time soon. Cannon appeared on the Howard Stern show Wednesday to announce that he is developing his very own daytime talk show.

“I’ve always dreamed of a platform where I can speak to America and discuss pop culture, as well as the topics on everyone’s minds,” said Cannon.

After leaving America’s Got Talent, Cannon shares how he wanted to elevate and was originally thinking about doing a late night talk show. When the opportunity presented itself to do the Wendy show, he experienced the energy and excitement of a daytime talk show and knew he had found his audience.

“They [daytime talk audience] was vibing with me, so I was like, let’s put the late night on pause just for a second and let’s develop a daily talk show,” said Cannon.

Cannon has signed a deal with FOX and announced that his show is expected to air every day in 2020.

“We are excited to be able to announce this collaboration with Nick, who has proven himself to be such a dominant creative and entrepreneurial force across film, primetime TV, music, comedy, stage and online platforms,” said Debmar-Mercury Co-Presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein.

While he has a lot on his plate with his radio show, Power 106, and other business ventures, Cannon is excited to get started and desires to be the next ‘King of all media.’

“The daytime audience got to see that firsthand earlier this year with his stellar performance guest hosting The Wendy Williams Show. Now we can’t wait to see Nick put his own unique stamp on talk and add daytime to his impressive list of accomplishments,” said Marcus and Bernstein.

Cannon would like for his show to be in New York; however, the location of it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
