Young Black Hollywood Live Spotlight on Jordan Fisher, star of Netflix romcom To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You

Jordan Fisher has been making a name for himself in Hollywood and is known for his most recent role, John Ambrose, in the popular Netflix film To All The Boys: P.S I Still Love You.

Before Fisher was cast as the sweet heartthrob in the Netflix rom-com, he has been in several TV Series while developing his music career and performing on Broadway.

In 2009, Fisher had his first two television guest roles on The Hustler and iCarly. His first major role was on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager playing Grace Bowman’s half-brother. Fisher also worked with The Disney Channel and has been involved in a few of their projects such as Liv and Maddie, Teen Beach Movie, and Teen Beach 2.

Aside from acting, Fisher is also a dancer. He competed in the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars and was the winner for the season. He also was cast in Fox’s musical productions of Rent: Live and Grease: Live.

In 2014, Fisher concentrated on his music career and released three pop songs on Radio Disney. Soon after he signed a record deal with Hollywood Records. His first single, “All About Us”, was ranked as the second-most added song on pop radio stations. Fisher joined the Disney Channel Circle Of Stars for the remake song of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” from the film Frozen. His latest song, “Mess”, was released on October 6th 2017.

Fisher made his Broadway debut in Hamilton and played the role of Michael Jackson in MJ:The Musical. This year he is returning to Broadway, taking over the title role in the Tony Award-Winning musical Dear Evan Hansen.

We know this is only the beginning for Jordan Fisher. He is currently working on two films,Work It and Tick, Tick…Boom, that will revolve around music and dancing.  Be sure to be on the lookout for this triple threat!
